The original Pounds & Inches Protocol refers to the protocol that British physician Dr. Simeon identified in the mid-1950’s. He discovered that when hCG was administered daily, patients could maintain their health through a low calorie diet. When on a low calorie diet without hCG, patients became irritable, had hunger cravings, weakness, and/or headaches.
Phase 1 (P1) – Detoxification (optional)
Phase 1 – Optional Protocol Detox & Preparation. Although this phase is not required, based on today’s conditions, it is highly recommended. This phase consists of a series of dos and don’ts. It may be difficult for most people to do all the steps in this phase with strict adherence. You should still try to do as many as you can for the thirty days prior to starting Phase 2. The more you do in this phase will result in losing more weight faster during Phase 2. This phase addresses and corrects many of the new underlying causes of obesity that Simeons did not contend with in the 1950s and 1960s. If you skip this phase, or do it half heartedly, you will still achieve spectacular results in Phase 2 and make the whole protocol easier to complete. The more you do in this phase may greatly increase your ability to keep the weight off permanently and help eliminate food cravings in the future.
Phase 2 (P2) – Weight Loss Phase
Days 1 & 2 – Start taking Simply ReSet Enhanced Mineral Drops and begin high fat, high calorie diet. This is often called “loading” or “gorging” and is an essential step in the resetting of the body’s fat regulating system.Days 3-21 (up to 60 days ) – Eat approved food & drink ONLY (see User Guide for details)Continue drops that are now (triggering Leptin) to release stored fat as “food” for the body and supplement with the low calorie diet. Phase 3 (P3) Stabilization Phase
The P3 stabilization comes after we have completed our goal, whether it follows the 23 day, 45 day or 60 day program. The purpose of P3 is to restore the metabolism & balance in the body, and prevent any circumstance that the body will gain the weight back.
When you end your last day of taking the drops you must remain on the VLCP diet for 2 more days before increasing your food intake to allow time for the encoded H-hCG to work out of your system. When you start the 3rd day you are welcome to increase your food intake to an appropriate amount and eat according to your hunger (only), for the remainder of the stabilization phase. You can also pick up on an exercise routine since now you have a sufficient amount of calories to support your new food intake.
P3 lasts 3 weeks long and it is a crucial part of the program in order to be successful with this treatment. Without the stabilization phase the weight gain will be uncontrollable after we are off the diet. When the last transition day of the drops is over, then it is said that you can eat whatever you want which is true except you must avoid foods that have sugars and starches (see User Guide for list of foods). It takes about 3 weeks for the weight to stabilize and cease fluctuation. During this period people must realize that the carbohydrates, such as sugar, bread, rice, potatoes, pastries, etc, are to be avoided at all costs. If no carbohydrates whatsoever are eaten, fats can be indulged in more liberally and even small quantities of alcohol, such as a glass of wine with meals, does no harm, but as soon as fats and starch are combined things are very likely to get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise disappointments are almost sure to occur.
Bear in mind, your weight may fluctuate the first week or two – this is normal. The weight will eventually stabilize and cease to fluctuate. Watch the starch and sugar very carefully during this 3 weeks. Eat as many organic foods as possible. Eat whatever you want, without starch or sugar, during the stabilization phase. Make sure you are eating enough. Use healthy fats and dairy products to up your calorie intake if necessary. Drink enough water.
Phase 4 (P4) Maintenance & Lifestyle Phase
Maintenance Phase: after the 21 days stabilization phase – The body’s fat regulation system is now adjusted. Begin to add back sugars and starches slowly, adjusting back if your weight increases.
